     In keeping with its goal of providing customer service that exceeds expectations, the Planning and Development Department, Seminole County, Florida, has begun the process of revising its current organization and use of technology in an effort to implement changes that will automate and integrate related process and services. The overall goal is to revamp the way we provide information to the customer, making the best use of technology to create a fully automated and integrated local government. Seminole County Government, by authority of the Board of County Commissioners, has entered into a partnership with the University of Central Florida's College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) and College of Health and Public Affairs (COHPA) to develop an Integrated Government Service System.
